Freudenberg Filtration Technologies receives Honda Service Parts Supplier Award tenth time in a row
An award with tradition: For the tenth time in a row, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. presented the Honda Service Parts Supplier Award to Freudenberg Filtration Technologies. The honor recognizes Freudenberg's consistently excellent performance in quality, cost and delivery of spare parts for Honda and Acura customers. In total, Honda honored only 19 out of more than 1,000 spare parts suppliers with the award.
The global automotive industry, like many other industries, is facing enormous tensions. One of the effects of the Corona pandemic is supply shortages, which continue to challenge the industry. This makes close partnerships, mutual exchange and reliability all the more important. The performance of its most outstanding service partners is recognized annually by American Honda Motor Co, Inc. with the Honda Service Parts Supplier Award. "In the after-sales sector, flexibility and reliability are what count most," says David Lester, North American Regional Director of Freudenberg Filtration Technologies. "Being able to guarantee these despite tense supply chains was one of our biggest hurdles last year. The 2021 Award clearly shows that we succeeded once again. My thanks therefore go to all colleagues who contribute every day to getting Honda and Acura customers back on the road quickly."
As in previous years, the Honda Service Parts Supplier Award were presented during a virtual conference. "Even though the award ceremony could not take place on site once again, we are very proud of the award – especially since we received it for the tenth time in a row and are therefore celebrating an anniversary," explains Dave Lester. "Of course, we're also looking forward to meeting our long-time partners at Honda in persona again soon." Freudenberg supplies Honda's aftermarket with micronAir particle filters, which are used in both Honda and Acura models.

Freudenberg Filtration Technologies offers a wide portfolio of filter solutions for the automotive sector.
